No, she doesn't - I've trained her (and still am) to not whine or bark, unless permitted. We don't allow useless barking/yapping because As she's still a pup, she barks a bit when she's playing ...eg. attack-bark at something, but not much at all. She growled and barked a bit when she saw something in the dark (us, without the lights on) - this is a good thing, for a guard dog.
