Black Knight was friendly with a fosterer who will play with him daily while waiting for her cab to go home, she noticed that he was skinny with fleas & not very well taken cared of by his owner, 1 day, when it was raining,the main gate was locked & Black Knight was outside, he was looking for food & Didn't know how to cross the road, so while he was busy eating a kuih lapis, the fosterer, grabbed him, begged the cabbie to take them both home, paying an exorbitant RM 15, showered him, gave him food & them brought him to the shelter. He is an excellent guard dog.

However after being adopted, he died due to sickness
