Message from current fosterer:
My husband and I had brought them back and they are now safe and sheltered, provided with dog biscuits and clean water as well. But this is just temporary as my father-in-law does not like dogs and we hope the mummy and baby will be adopted before my father-in-law comes back home in another two weeks. I am very sorry about that but this is the best I can do for them. Please PM me if any one of you or your friend or relatives would like to adopt them. We would appreciate if you could adopt both of them together.
It's a baby girl with all white fur and a long tail. Her eyes are still closed and needs her mother to nurse her. She has no dewclaws at her hind feet.
The mother is all brown with some visible scars at her tummy on the left. She has triangle dropping ears and a long tail. She can be a very good guard dog for your home as she is very alert about the sounds and movements at the surrounding. She was very shy at first when I met her at Glenmarie, but after gaining her trust and confident, I found that she can be a very obeying and humble dog, yet she will growl at strangers. I even think that she can understand my languages, be it vocal or body language.
1st, when we were transporting her back home, she was scared by the movement of the car and tried to move up to the passenger seat. Then I gently move her down and told her to stay at the bottom. After that, she stayed there until we reached home. It was a 30 minutes journey.
2nd, at home when I had settled them down and had a rest at my living room, i heard the baby cried for few minutes. I had a peek and found that the mother had gone outside the gate, though I am not sure for what purpose and reason, but she was like guarding the house. Then I said 'Hey, why you go out? Come in!' She looked at me and came near to me. Then I said 'What are you doing out there while your baby is crying? You don't want your baby anymore?' She gave me a 'guilty' expression.
3rd, may be she feels insecure in this new environment, I did not see her nursing her baby few hours since we brought her back. I brought her baby near to her, saying that the baby is hungry. She slowly lied down and nursed her baby.
She is just amazing! Some how I could communicate with her! She definitely can be a very obeying guard dog, in her new home with her new owner!
Please, who are able to give them a new home with lots of love, please bring them home. My situation does not allow me to, but they really deserve a better life.
