Leopard Gecko
Morph: Tangerine het RAPTOR het Boldstripe
Size: Adult
Sex: Male
Eats: Mealworms, Superworms and crickets
Feeds: 2 times a week or once a week
Status: Not for sale
Character: Very2 tame, never bites, able to climb on to shoulder and sit very still, very photogenic too XD
Housing: Leopard gecko do not require a heating mat or a heat source in their tank. Just a regular large plastic box with holes on the lid will do just fine. They do require a humid hide and a hiding cave.
Substrate: Can be newspaper, kitchen tissue, or sand (newspaper and tissue is the best)
Calcium: like other reptiles, leopard gecko require calcium in their diet. So i usually feed them with mealworms dusted with calcium powder once a week.
Toilet: Leopard gecko are the easiest reptiles because they will poo at only one area of the tank which acts as their toilet. This makes it easier to clean as they dont require much food and they dont poo that much.
Comment: Leopard Gecko are one of the best pets for beginner reptile keeper as they dont make noise, they dont make dirty mess, they dont need much maintenance and they can be handled :)..As long as you dont pull its tail which can fall off just like a regular gecko. Besides that, it is truly the best reptile ive ever had :)
