March 2013:
I found Hugo loitering in the playground near my housing area. A neighbour had spotted him earlier and we figured he was dumped as he had indentation of a collar on his neck.

He was later caught by DBKL and we bailed him out from Setapak dog pound. Soon, he was adopted by a guy staying in Bandar Sunway.

August 2014:
A year and a half later, I saw a post on MDDB FB about an abandoned dog and I immediately recognized Hugo. The owner had left him in the empty house after moving away. For the second time, we went to rescue him and took him home with us.

He is now looking for his FOREVER home. He has been abandoned twice I do not wish he gets abandoned again. So, serious and responsible adopter only!

Hugo is very friendly and obedience with a good temperament. He has the intelligence of a GSD, makes him easy to train. However, he has fears for car ride, I guess he was traumatized when captured by DBKL?

He is very attached to human, he must be allowed in the house to spend time with the family. He rarely barks but will howl. He has a considerable thick coat that requires weekly combing.

Adopter must have a good knowledge and experience of large breed dogs and must be able to take care a large breed financially. He is also a strong dog, he may pull during his walkies and he may chase stray cats, please make sure you can physically handle a large breed dog also.
