Pepper and her mother Roxy were given to us by parents of our son's friend. Pepper was 7 weeks old at the time. Roxy, the Mum, is a cross Beagle/Bassett and the Dad, Chopper, is a Shih Tzu. Pepper resembles her Dad.
Pepper has naturally longish hair (see picture) but we did have it cut short at Christmas after a battle with tics recently.
Pepper has always been very gentle but with a cheeky streak. She is playful and very affectionate. She loves to be stroked, bathed and brushed.
On Friday 13th February she made her way through a hole in the hedge (that she must have made herself) on to the grass verge outside our house. The gardener next door told us later that he had seen her sitting outside.
We arrived home from work/school to find her gone.
Pepper has a slight rash on her chest that she needs cream for and still has one remaining heartworm tablet to take. We desperately want her back.
