Sandy was a one of a kind dog with a lovable personality. She was rescued from the SPCA in 2002 after her owner abandoned her. She was a very quiet timid dog and was scared of almost everything. She didn't even bark until a few years later.
However after a few months with us, she began to overcome her issues and was the most loyal dog anyone could ask for.
She was a silly dog who would do anything for food including faking a limp. She loves attention and could not go a single second without being by my side (this included trailing me into the toilet and coming to my room to wake me up the moment she was up).
She's been by our side for the past 10 years and we cherish the memories we've made with her.
She passed away on Aug 30, after finally succumbing to cancer. RIP Sandy you were the best dog anyone could ask for. See you on the other side.
