Update :
Meg's just been adopted. I hope it works out for her. Crossing my fingers!
~~~~~
Meg was one of my rescues several years ago. I managed to persuade my sister to take her in at that time and all was well. (I have 3 cats of my own)
Last year, my sister had to relocate overseas and she couldn't bring Meg along with her. So I took her in. Unfortunately, one of my 3 cats couldn't get along with Meg and kept ambushing her until Meg got so paranoid and would growl each time she sees her. They would also get into sudden spats. I have tried numerous ways to get my cat to stop ambushing Meg (water spray, rolled up newspapers, locking her up at night in my room) but none has worked.
This has been going on for about 7 months now and although it breaks my heart, I need to find a new home for Meg before she gets too traumatized.
I don't know Meg's history because she was a stray when I found her. She could have been abused previously because she's a timid cat and doesn't like being handled roughly so homes with young children may not be suitable. I think a single-cat household would be preferable, but I don't think she would mind being in a multi-cat household as long as the others don't attack her. (She was fine with my other 2 cats because they left her alone).
She likes being with people and loves to cuddle up with anyone.
Since she's a domestic short hair and not a purebred, some might think she's not very pretty but I think she's lovely. (Note : I think she's tri-color more than calico)
My requirement for her new home is very simple. I just want her to go to a good home where she can live out the rest of her life peacefully.
