Thank you all!lots love. Virginia's is no longer in the vet and she is with us! Thank you again
This girl was spotted by our volunteer in the housing area in Sungai Long and had a wire cutting into her pelvis area and was limping and looked so sickly. We manage to rescue her and the medical results are as below: -
1) Deep Injury due to the wire around her waist: total cost RM154, inv.no. 2504; the treatment also entails the use of a general anesthesia (GA) as Virginia was hostile and aggressive
2) TVT positive - requires 5 treatments:
i) diagnostics - total cost RM260, inv.no. 2505; the diagnostics was conducted to confirm the presence of TVT and the necessary treatments. At this stage, an x-ray examination was conducted as well.
ii) TVT treatments - total cost RM1,016, inv.no. 2506; the diagnostics confirmed that the dog would require 5 chemotherapy treatments. Again, Virginia was put under GA during the treatments due to her hostility.
3) Heart Worm positive - Stage one treatment: total cost RM742.80, inv.no. 2507; Virginia was found to have contracted heart worm disease and would need heart worm treatment that entails the cost for IV fluids and the necessary medicine.
4) Preventive medicine - we took the opportunity to also spay and de-worm Virginia which amounted to the total cost of RM891, inv.no. 2508.
