Found Abu at a restaurant I keep going to eat to. My daughter and I would always "accidently" drop some food for the cats circling our table. One day we saw Abu. Never saw Abu before that day. He was the smallest so he never gets to eat anything when we drop those food of our table. Bigger cats would tap him in the head and he'll back off. My 7 year old daughter worried that Abu would never get to eat because all the other cats would just bully him. She made a puppy face. Abu scratched his back on my shins, well ... how could I say no? MY daughter went up to the waitress asked if Abu could come back home with us. The reply was, "take them all home if you like" That made my daughter's day. Took him to the vets, got some supplies and he fits right in with the family. He was housebroken within days! My leather sofas are safe, my floors are never 'tainted', he won't climb the dining table, but my curtains showed some 'climbing' evidence. He eats kitten food the vet recommended. He sleeps in the room with us. Travels in the car with us. The balcony converted to his play area. Grilled off of course. He renewed my love for cats I must say. Brought out the kid in me. Spoiled him rotten.
