Adopted her on 12 May 2012. She was a frail little 2 months old kitten that didn't seem to like to eat much.
If it wasn't because of blood in her stool two days after I took her in, I wouldn't have found out that she had an assortment of health issues -- malnourished, gastrointestinal problem and water in her lung. With special diet and medication, it took her about a week to recover from her gastrointestinal and lung problems.
A week later, she developed ringworm and mange. In order to treat her, the vet had to shave her completely, making her look like a furless cat (Sphinx). Lola required weekly mange shot then. She also had a lot of parasites -- hardly gained weight. Her weight hovered around 500g-600g until her third month.
On her fourth month (after all the treatments) now, her weight touched 1kg (finally!) and she got her beautiful fur back!!
She is now an active little diva living a relatively good and healthy life!
