THE ADOPTER HAS VISITED ME YESTERDAY AND HE SEEMS GENUINE. I WILL VISIT HIS FARM THIS WEEKEND AND HAVE A LOOK SEE HOW THINGS ARE THERE... WORSE COME TO WORST, I WILL TAKE STRIPES UNTIL I FOUND A NEW HOME... MEANWHILE, PRAY HARD FOR STRIPES AND FOR THE ADOPTER TO BE GENUINE. MY GUTS FEELING TELLS ME HE'S OK.. I KNOW I SHOULDN'T BE SAYING THIS, BUT LETS CROSS OUR FINGERS... THANKS AGAIN

FerretSoldier   Dec 11th 2008 at 8:36PM I just went to SPCA today for 2 hours and looked for stripes on that cage. he wasnt there.. got a sign saying "brindle, animal cruelty case.. hold on 1st" something like that.. but where could he be, kak anum? he was the first i wanted to see..

mrsdolittle   Dec 14th 2008 at 9:46AM Hai Ferret girl! That's the one... Dr. Pusshpa said he is now having a cold and has to be there. He was put in a cannal with other dogs before and unfortunately some of them were sick... So, they put in in an individual cage since its better for him... according to Dr. he can only be vaccinated when recover from the cold. I am super worry about Stripes... He looks even lost compare to the first time i met him. Am going again and again till he's ready. i will never give up on him... The adopter was informed about his condition and willing to wait even after christmas... Thank goodness... Are you going there again? Please let me know. Really appreciate what you are doing and concern. Thanks again Ferret girl.

Visited Stripes again today! He seems better and responding again!!! Yup! He was a little snappy, but Uncle (SPCA staff)said he wasn't snapping today when he tried to help Stripes off the cage (he was trying to get out). Neither he snaps at me when i fed him today. This boy needs a lot of love and attention and A LOT OF HUMAN CONTACT which he didn't get before. He needs more time and time is all he has. THANK YOU SPCA... I will be visiting him again and feeding him during my lunch hour everyday...(by God's willing) whenever i can... Oh! Ya, he loves the cat food instead... Whiskas... Ocean Fish... I guess he was fed with fish more than anything else... He doesn't seems lost anymore... at least he is now watching and observing the other dogs who are playing, dancing and singing with us... There's hope in his eyes and he loves my hubby more... (jealous I)...

mrsdolittle   Dec 16th 2008 at 8:47AM Good day Ferret girl! Latest news on Stripes... HE WAGGED HIS TAIL WHEN HE SAW US YESTERDAY!!! I WAS SO TOUCHED AND OPENED THE CAGE TO FEED HIM. HE WAS SO RELAX AND ATE FROM OUR HANDS... WE WERE SO HAPPY... UNFORTUNATELY, I CANT'T STAY LONG SINCE I WAS QUITE SICK AND ALMOST FAINTED THERE... ANYWAYS, WE SANG AND DANCE FOR HIM AND HIS EYES SHOWED MORE HOPE... THANKS AGAIN FERRET GIRL...

fERRET gIRL, We visited Stripes again... this time he is already out of the cage... Alamak !!! He's quite confused and became snappy again... Peningnya I!!! We were happy in a way since he can mix with the rest, but acting very defensive... That's our worry.. Before we left, we saw him sitting in a corner where nobody can sees him... Adoi!!! Needs more time la macam ni...

vivi   Dec 16th 2008 at 9:24PM Wow Kak anum, U n ferret keep updating bout stripes condition. That's very good. At least makes me no need to keep wondering bout Stripes condition. Don gives up. It's very usual for Stripes to act this way. Like u mentioned b4, give more n more TLC. Stripes just kekurangan perasaan selamat and partly it's bcos Stripes never communicate with other dogs b4 too. So it's very usual. Is Stripes being place with other dogs together? Does he get bully by another dog? :) Good Luck Kak anum. U did a very good job and god bless u.

mrsdolittle   Dec 16th 2008 at 9:33PM Hello Vivi, Akak fikir Vivi dah lupa kat Stripes... It takes a lot of time and effort to treat an abused animal kan Vivi... Buat masa ni akak cuma ada masa dalam 1 ke 2 jam sahaja to spend time with him... itu pun tengok mood si Stripes tu... but at least he sees us everyday and know that someone cares. We learnt quite a bit from Stripes... Just LIKE A HUMAN WHOM LOST TRUST IN ANOTHER... TIME IS ALL HE NEEDS AND I'M beginning to fall in love with him... Oppsss... i'm in trouble.. Lets see what my hubby says... Stripes could be his Christmas present... Hah... ha...
