I think the adoption should be based on who fits the criteria best after a screening process, rather than on a first come first served basis. After all, it is all about finding the best home possible for the dog. Just my humble opinion. :)

Totally agree with Leona n add one more condition is to neuter him b4 handover to new owner avoid from immortal backyard breeder,u can ask the adopter bear the bill.Finally would u mind to tell me y let him go?TQ

Btw Maxpower, could you explain to me more on backyard breeder? first time hearing that term and how do i avoid those people.

Hi, Shopaholic! Backyard breeders are people who breed pets, cats or dogs, indiscriminately for the primary purpose of making money. They may or may not love animals, but they generally know little or nothing about genetics, inherited disorders that are common to the breed, health care, etc. What Maxpower (and many others of us) fears is that someone will adopt this dog and simply use him as a 'breeding machine' to produce litter after litter of pups. Such dogs are rarely kept in good conditions, and as long as the puppies sell, the breeder doesn't care. Please do consider taking just a bit more time to have this fellow neutered. If he can't be used for breeding, you can feel more sure that he's going home with a genuine animal lover. Wishing you the best in finding a GOOD home for him. :-)
