Fitri was rescued in September, 2011, the same day with the Petknode case. When I first this pitiful cat, he was begging for food in a Coffee Shop. With a condition, like him, bloody and smelly, he was shoo-ed away on every attempt to approached a table.
I bought a box of Frieskies and fed him..He quickly gobbled his food. I later, ask, around, and found out from the Shopkeeper Assistance that he was hit by car 2-3 weeks back.
Later, I brought him to a vet in Puchong for treatment. He was given antibiotic and painkiller for the injury. Nevertheless, after 2 months he didnt make any progress. The injury /wound didnt heal well, and, he was then tested for FIV/FELV/Fungal. Through, his record I noticed that he was also treated with Intraconzole in November.
Seeing, his slow progress, we decided to move him to KLinik Haiwan Dan Surgeri Wawasan Puchong in Dec, who has a successful track records in treating Sporo. Despite of his injury, Fitri is a big eater, and, a happy cat.
Fitri is expected to be treated for another 2-3 months, at RM 25 per day. His bill could come up to RM 2.5K. I am also appealing for AnimalCare and SCRATCH for sponsorshop.
