ChewChew1987   Nov 5th 2008 at 6:25PM Someone message me few days ago about the treatment and since my credit ran out, i can't reply to him/her. So.. The cancer on his leg is cured, so said the doctor. However, there are some scar left from the operation which looks like a lump. The doctor said it is CURABLE but since the owner had just abandoned him after the cancer operation, it will do the vet and the dog no good if they undergo another operation. 1. The dog will suffer again from the operation before being put to sleep (if no one adopt) 2. There are cost invloved, and he is not the only dog abandoned there with injuries. If you interested in adopting him, and wanted him completly healed, i will find way to make it free (donation or sponsor).

Great Dane? I thought he is a Dalmatian. So he is in fact a harlequin Great Dane. Roughly how tall is he?

ChewChew1987   Nov 6th 2008 at 10:06PM Yea...Great Dane. I mistook him as Dalmation when he is actually a Great Dane. His height is estimately a head or two shorter than a MyV, the size is half or more of the MyV....i cannot really explain.

trinalgoz   Nov 7th 2008 at 7:45AM Glad to hear that somebody is planning to take him home. He should weigh around 45-55kg and stand at least 75cm at his shoulder. So he's going to eat a lot as he's really huge. Let's say if he weight 50kg then he will need around 0.6kg of food each day. Be prepared.

ChewChew1987   Nov 7th 2008 at 4:22PM There are a few pple already asking to adopt him. However, i will only give the first person who call me the first right to claim the dog if he likes him. If the first person doesn't want him, then i will pass it to the second, the third, and the fourth. I apologize if such system causes you unconvenience. I tried to be fair. Anyway, i have some other adult dogs available too if any of you interested, although not pedigree.

ChewChew1987   Nov 10th 2008 at 11:54PM Lim is the second adopter of Last Chance. The first adopter's dog tries to attack Last Chance and these two dogs just cannot get along. So the first adopter has to give him up over to Lim. Lim is a good dog lover.

I think a new policy should be set up. Pets that have been sick before need to present their medical report before putting up for adoption. I overlook this in this case, causing more people to feel upset, and i vow never to do this again.

baca882004   Dec 13th 2008 at 7:39PM Oh, so sad for you. Must be heart-breaking. I know it's NO consolation, but at least know that Author lived her last few months in the comfort of a real home, with someone to love her. And though it's unfair for you, at least her last month was wonderful.
