Female, approximately 9 mths old. Very loving & affectionate. Does not make much noise. She's the type that wags her tail everytime she sees you and loves you unconditionally.
Dewormed, vaccinated & spayed. Up for adoption again.
she's very gentle and loved to be petted. She'll wags her tail without fail whenever she sees you. Great around children.
Errmmm...i guess she can be lively and active or quiet accordingly. She's lively and active when you play with her, and quiet when she's alone in the room.
From day 1 until now (it's been 6 days since I'm fostering her) she doesn't make much noise. Pee and poo outside the house.
Do let me know if you are interested, or do help her to find a home...Thanks yea.. Am bringing her for vaccination this weekend.
I had the pleasure of Do Do's company for a week. Here's a summary of what she is like, for potential adopters:
TEMPERAMENT Do Do is very sweet natured and submissive. She loves company and is happy just to have someone around her. She is quiet and will not demand for attention.
She is well mannered and does not rush out doors or gobble up food.
WALKS Do Do knows how to walk by your side when leashed. She is initially afraid of areas she is unfamiliar (areas with other dogs and fast cars) with but will forget her fears once visited several times over a few days. She doesn't need very long walks and prefers to walk in bushy quiet areas than near streets with speeding cars. She is good to walk unleashed too and will seldom leave your side. Do Do has great recall and will run back to you upon your call. She is happiest when she can wander around unleashed but supervised.
I also believe that she has been trained to let the owner walk in and out of doors first as she will always wait for me to step in/out first. This is the trademark of a dog that has learnt o respect the leader of the pack. No worries about her running out the door or gates at all.
SOCIALBILITY Absolutely loves kids and is very patient and gentle with them, socialize with other dogs and humans well. Can live with cats too as I have a cat at home. She will chase stray cats if allowed.
When left alone at home and leashed, she will ignore the neighbors kids who tease her. But has tendency to jump out the gates and join the neighbor kids if unleashed.
She knows and can recognize my voice within a few days and will look for me in a crowd.
FOOD Is not impatient when you are preparing her meals. When served, will sit (upon command) and wait for your permission to eat. Will not eat even if you turn your back to do something else until you allow her to eat. Will not demand for food. Have no interest in your food when you are eating. Will not ask for table scraps. Loves roast duck.
CHEWING Since she is just 8 months old, needs a lot of chew toys to help her set her adult teeth in. If she doesn't get a chew toy, she might chew your plants. Will take things from the floor to chew but will not touch objects on shelves or tables. Having been a stray, she will dip her nose in your garbage if it is not covered. She needs to be taught what is hers for chewing, what is not. Just give her a good variety of chew toys as she does not know how to eat kibbles stuffed in kongs or similar toys. She enjoys a good chew, even if it's an egg carton or a yoghurt tub cover.
PLAY She hasn't learnt how to play. She will oblige at a game of tug, but will only tug gently as she does not have aggressiveness in her.
BARK She doesn't bark much, even at strangers. Not a potential watchdog until she has her own territory to guard.
LOYALTY Can distinguish main owner from other family members and will wait/look out for main owner.
TRAINABILITY Do Do is absolutely trainable! You just need to learn how to communicate with her. Her subservient personality makes it very easy as she listens well and has a good attention span. I believe she can learn many tricks with a good handler.
OVERALL Do Do will be very happy to be with a family with young children. She has a lot of potential as she is already well mannered and has had previous training. She can be kept indoors or outdoors. She is happy to be put at the least important place, just as long as she is welcomed in the family.
What's her main personality like-- lively and active or quiet and gentle?
