Mickey has deformed hind legs, and is experiencing problems urinating.
Mickey is only able to slowly drip his urine out, and the doctor is observing him for a few days to properly diagnose his body functions.
His bladder has ruptured, and may involve a complicated surgery. For now, the vet managed to insert a catheter that serves as part of the urethra, ie. an outlet for the urine to flow from the bladder to be excreted.
We are hoping the rupture will heal fine after a few days, so the surgery would not be required.
The medical bill would likely run up to a costly RM1,000 - RM1,500, so I would like to appeal for assistance here to help subsidize Mickey's medical treatment. Thank you very much.
This case has been highlighted at AnimalCare's blog as well:
