Golden-color Butter is a super alert and happy dog. She has charming shar-pei wrinkles when she frowns and cute big upright ears. Wary of strangers but very loving and devoted once she knows you. Very smart, understands simple commands to sit, off and come. Doesn't run out of the house when gate is opened. Loves canine companion and great as a second dog. Alert and barks at strangers. A great companion and watchdog. No tying up or caging. Please call if interested.
Adopted by Lilian and family DecSister Peanut adopted by Ang and Emmy Sept 1.
Brother Jelly adopted by Vivian and Velan Oct 9, 2011.
Background:
They were among five pups born very early July 2011. Their mom is a golden color mixed breed. Two of their siblings have died. The trio left were earlier taking refuge under cars parked in my neighborhood but have been fostered by a kind neighbor since Sept. 1.
Peanut is the black and tan girl, the fattest, most dominant and most adventurous of the lot.
Jelly, the male, is the independent one and best as second dog. His left eye looks deformed but vet says it's due to the third eyelid drooping down. This can be easily fixed later on, possibly at the same time when he is sent in for neutering. Otherwise healthy as a lark.
Drama Sept 2: Butter escaped last night and came back with her mama at 3am to try and 'rescue' her siblings from the backyard. Jelly managed to squeeze out. Peanut was put in the cage at the front porch. Jelly came in in the morning to see his sister and was caught. Butter tried but alas joined them too. Phew. Mama loitering outside.
We are still trying to catch the mother dog.
