SPCA Penang rescued the dog from an unoccupied condo lot. He had a 2kg+ chain & padlock around his neck which had embedded in the flesh. It was clear the chain had been there for some considerable time.

We were unable to remove chain so took him to the clinic to have chain removed and wounds cleaned & stitched. Several holes around the neck contained maggots.

We have asked the clinic to keep the dog and clean the wound till maggot free as we do not have the ability to do it in house. We shall take over once the wound is clean and much easier to do daily dressing etc.

We would like to appeal for funds to help with the medical treatment of Rocky, which would cost approximately RM 1,500.
