In Arabic, 'Afrita' is a nick-name used to describe a mischievous and naughty person or animal (or supernatural being).

She was given to my house keeper by a desperate man couldn't afford taking care of her. I took care of her and her babies until I had to return to KL. I wanted to take them with me but couldn't, so I left them with my father.

Unfortunately when I was in Malaysia, Afrita was cat-napped by someone when my father was hospitalized and no one was around. I was so angry but there was nothing I could do. I just hope that she's being cared for, where ever she is.
