I adopt Lila (my daughter named her) from SPCA Ampang shelter on Thursday (23rd June 2011).
About 2 - 3 times I open her cage, she keep on coming to me, climb my hand and looked straight to my eyes as she's asking me to take her home. She have another sibling fatter a bit than her but she didn't bother me. Lila a bit thin and weak. So, I take her home because I know she needed more. I straight away go to the vet clinic (Sacred Hearts Animal Clinic) near my house to get advice for the best food Lila needed. Reach home I feed her and bath her and gave her nice place and bed to sleep. She's so happy and look so cute after cleaning her and put her cutey collar. My children very happy too. Feel so good to do all this. But I'm thinking about other animals I saw at the shelter. If my husband didn't limit me I might take the sibling and another one maybe, and possibly one cat. But I have to be realistic also because having a pet is not having a toys when broken can throw. It is a responsibility to a living things. Lila is part our family now :))
So, I'm begging other people now to visit SPCA shelter either in Ampang, Selangor, Kota Kinabalu or where ever it is. So many of them need home. My sincere prayers to all the SPCA staff and volunteers. God blessed you all. Their kind heart, patient, and hard work to save all the animals. I can see and sense their love and sincerity on what are they doing. You will feel the positive energy when surrounding by this people :))
