13 August 2011 update: Goldie has been adopted!
Temporary foster name: Goldie
Foster location: Kuala Lumpur (free transport to adopter anywhere in Klang Valley)
Physical features: Medium-length hair. Cream in colour with brown patches. Her body colouring is like that of a koi fish with distinct brown spots on her head and tail base.
Food: She's not fussy with food/drink at all as she happily lives on dry kibbles and clean water.
Toilet-trained: She would only pee and poo outside (daily walks may be needed) and on grass (never on the road or cement floor). But adopter can train her to do indoors.
Health details: The vet gave her a clean bill of health and her lactation has stopped after the last pup of her litter has been adopted about a month ago. She's on standard monthly Heartgard and Frontline medication for protection against heartworms and ticks/fleas/lice/mites.
History: She was an abandoned pet who was rescued from her previous home under a container.
Behavior: She's friendly to humans but not with other dogs or cats. She would make a good companion as well as a guard dog as she would growl and bark at intruders. She loves long walks and would be a boon for those joggers/walkers looking for company and protection. She has an adorable trait of waving her tail non-stop as she walks. She would walk obediently beside me and never pull away (unlike my 2 adopted naughty dogs). She's also very loyal and would return when called. In fact, she would whine and bark in jealousy if I walked my adopted dogs and left her behind at home.
