- house trained (still need reinforcement) - active, playful, intelligent, loyal, and obedient - two conditions: (i) Affectionate dog lover who lives in Petaling Jaya or Kepong. Expected to provide good food, good medical care, and a good shelter. (ii) Daily walk (minimum 30 mins) is a must.
I have 7 dogs and i dont have enough resources to take care of them. they dont bark excessively but they do bark when they see strangers or cats. on the other hand they very obedient so if you watch dog whisperer you will learn how to control them.
they are about 7kg. yeah Cesar Milan is my god, hope all who have dogs watch his show to better understand their behaviours, and that it is our faults always and not the dog's. cheers.
i agree with u. but some people always blame the dogs! do u think i can keep them for apartment life? my house is small but i do want a dog , not too big.
Thank you Eileen for your excellent suggestion. I would be sad if they are used as a breeder machine but according to the vet i should spay them only after 2 more months for male and after the first period for female. if i want to make sure that they are neutered then i have to wait for at least 2 months ...
hi Four seasons, I think yr vet is a tad old-fashion. At 8 months old, they are more than ready already to be neutered. Please please do it before they are handed over to their new home.
Hi, Fourseasons -- I agree with Eileen and encourage you to check with another vet. If you want to be sure your lovely JRTs find a home with someone who loves them as pets and family members, spay/neutering before releasing them is the best thing you can do.
As for your question about whether to spay before the first heat cycle, nearly all vets nowadays say it's best to spay BEFORE. Here is a link to one article, and from there, you can read several others, but all agree: spay before she comes into heat.
