lynielime   Sep 24th 2008 at 4:53PM can't you keep her at home in a cage or board her at a vet until she is adopted? at least get her some proper shelter please. i'm sure there is more you can do. she looks pitiful and in terrible condition. if you can get her to KL, i will foster her for you.

cerz   Sep 24th 2008 at 5:05PM this is a shih tzu. she needs urgent medical attention. she seems to have dry eyes and if failed to give her urgent medical attention, she may go blind especially in the right eye where u see alot of yellowish discharge. she may have demodex which is treatable or at least controllable with the right medical care and food. its impossible to guess with just merely looking at the pictures. she may be around 3 yrs but i may be wrong cuz she's in a terrible state now. maybe after she's received all her needed medical treatment, she mayb younger since she looks quite bright and healthy from pictures. her skin problem is not as bad as it seems. pls help her asap b4 she becomes in a worse state. or if anyone can arrange to send her to kl, most of us would be willing to help her.

baca882004   Sep 24th 2008 at 5:23PM The other alternative is to use petfinder's forester's list. http://www.petfinder.my/fostererlistings.php and search under Perak. Looks like there's a few forester who can take in dogs? Even one in Ipoh, Perak. Can you contact them to see if they can help?

LadyLiz   Sep 24th 2008 at 5:38PM I guess when the "not for adoption" note was put up, it's probably b'coz the poor pup could be lost and its owner could be (hopefully) looking for it and not meant to be adopted as yet till its status is ascertained ie is it really abandoned or lost. Hope someone living around Ipoh could offer some help to the lil' fella. It's in a sad state :-(

julietskling   Sep 24th 2008 at 9:00PM I am hoping that her owner will take her home. How am i going to bring her to the vet?She don't even let me to touch her. She is very smart and alert. She is afraid. My fiend found another friend who is happy to take MIMI home. I am keeping my finger cross. Some ppl will not want a ill dog. NOw my only problem is how am i going to catch her? driving me crazy! Any ideas? By the way..tq for all the comments. beside mimi there is one more female dog wondering just near to MIMI...cant really take any picture of her because she ran and hide when she notice me...

catrescu   Sep 25th 2008 at 12:34PM is this shih tzu see using her left eye only, and her right eye is blind? if yes, i think she is probably abandoned by the owner because of the defect. If possible can u shower her so that make her look more comfortable so that give a good impression for those going to adopt her. If too hard for adopttion, send it to SPCA.
