Apr 29th 2011 - My sister noticed a moving box when she was about to collect cheque from her customer at Sri Kembangan Industrial Area.. someone dumped a puppy in a box and sealed it and left it to die. Luckily the puppy is still alive when my sis opened the box. But the puppy can't stand on its back right hind leg and smell really bad. She tried to rush to the Vet but I guess you know about KL Traffic situation, so she took it back, bathed it but it still smell very bad. So, both my sister and her husband checking carefully and found out that 2 bone was actually came out from its kneecap.
She sent it to the vet on the next morning, the vet told her that the wound has been left for a while and there is maggot inside the wound that caused the smell. It must be hit by a car or motorbike and abandoned by its owner after started to smell bad.
It admitted on Saturday morning 30/4 and discharged on Monday 2/5. My sister learned from the vet to clean the wound, apply antibiotic ointment and wrapping the wound to prevent infection from forming. Flies can make a healing wound much worse by introducing maggots to the area. My sister will bring it back to the vet for checking 2 weeks later.
