Countess is a rescued dog. When she was found, her short daggling right leg had a big open wound infested with maggots. She had 2 one month old pups with her.
She had to wait for a few days for surgery as she was too thin and weak. Animal Care helped to pay for the amputation and spay.
Countess will be discharged today from the vet and we are taking her to a temp foster home.

Countess would really appreciate it if she can get a permanent loving home. She is very friendly, never once attemped to bite me or showed any signs of aggressiveness. She is a bit nervous and looks confused of course:)
