i have decided to keep this darling.although i found him only a week ago he stole my heart with his adorable antics.thanks to all those who commented on him and also to those who offered to adopt him....
Give the poor fellow a change. I believe yr Shitzu and cat will accept him soon...is just a matter of time...believe me....is difficult to get others to adopt a adult dog..,,wish u can give him home...god bless
hi JT liew.i really cant keep him cos my parents are too anxious bout the safety of our other pets.and since we all work full time it is rather difficult.i m doing my best for him.good news is a kind hearted gentleman is very keen on adopting him.he is an animal lover and i will be sending knight next weekend.of course my priority would be to ensure knight's well being.i had him for only 5 days but he is my baby now....i only want the best for him.sigh...hope this new home is permanent cos the last adopters gave him back within few hours saying their kids are afraid of big dogs.
I also have a found black Labrador and he looked fierce because of his color. But after researching about this breed and getting to know the dog better after a few days, he's like a teddy bear incarnated exactly like how you described yours. I already got numerous unsolicited adoption offers so I don't think you will have trouble giving yours away. But I suggest that you ask any potential adopters to bear the fee to neuter him as a sign of their commitment. I would do that to deter any breeders or worse adopting mine.
I agree that daily long walks is a must because I think that why labradors run (far, far) away if they escape and then get lost. This is the Labrador's nature and owners shouldn't blame or punish them.
hi ttdi, really appreciate ur comment.mmm not sure about neutering part...is it so necessary?i dont have much experience with male dogs.but i will definitely send to a very good and loving home.it breaks my heart to give him away and each day we are closer.its amazing how smart he is.i dont think i wanna bother looking for his owners cos maybe they dont deserve him after all.he was lost for almost a week and no one came for him.anyway he is very well now.i finally discovered his food preference which is boiled chicken with rice and of course plenty of milk.
ai yo why the last adopters like that, they don border at all how the poor fellow will feel later...hope the next kind gentleman will really confirmed want him without rejected him again later...god bless u and the dog also....good luck to both of u
good news...i have decided to keep knight.he is too adorable and has become my most trusted friend.he is also very antisocial with other dogs so i dont dare trust anyone else with him.i realised that if i give him up then i will worry myself too much...guess knight is stuck with me for life ..lol...
I guess thats the best news ever! Congrats on acquiring a new family member...its always a joy to add a new animal to the family, kinda like having a newborn baby....
Wonderful news indeed! I am still struggling to decide what to do with mine and had some doubts about potential adopters so far. But I don't doubt that yours will be a loyal and loving canine companion. : )
hi ttdi...i think u should keep him if u can.i admit its a bit hard for me cos i got a small shitzu AND a cat n knight hates them both.but i really love him and somehow with my family's help i am able to take care of him.now he is also the darling in my house besides our 2 other pets.takes a lot of committment and care.he got the flu 2 months ago and i really panicked cos it was severe.anyway he is very fine and happy now.i think he has made my life more joyfull and cant imagine not having him around
