SPCA   Aug 20th 2008 at 4:16PM Hi all, Bongo has been here for the last few months, people are hesitant to adopt him as he is already 8 years old, and hence they think they wont "get their moneys worth". We urge you not to think along these lines, as he is such a lovable, gentle dog. Think of how YOU can make his remaining years happy and full of love. Do you really think he wants to spend the rest of his life at an animal shelter, watching all the puppies get adopted? Think of Bongo, please pass the word around.

trinalgoz   Oct 11th 2008 at 9:04PM What is the owner's reasons for giving him up? It must be a hard time for Bongo. He had spent so many years with his owner and then being dumped. Worst of all, his old age would make him less likely to be adopted. Good luck boy.
