Blade is a lovely dog that i rescued from the Jab. Haiwan in Kuantan. Apparently he was badly run over and put in a box and left at their door step. Since he apparently didn't have an owner the doc refused to do anything for him but asked the assistant to put him down. But his assistant could not do it as he fell in love with the dog and ended up hiding him and treating the dog himself. Blade had 2 very badly broken back legs, with the bones sticking out. The vet assistant is s friend of mine. He kept the dog for a couple of weeks till he got hold of me then asked me to come over to take a look and asked if i would take him, by then Blade had recovered with the bones still sticking out but otherwise happily walking only on 2 front legs, (like scooby doo). I took him straight away... feel in love i guess. Brought him to a private vet who managed to cut the bones off. But it was too late for his legs to recover properly. But now 7 years later he can walk and run.... but with a limp. He is now a happy, well loved dog.

Hi Annette, good job indeed on taking care of Blade and fighting for his rights with your neighbour. Your perseverance and kindess gave him a 2nd chance in life. This serves as a great example to others, that each and every life is equally precious, and we must not give up on them so easily and do whatever it takes to help them.

Oh, the vet's kind-hearted assistant deserves good praise too!
