I think he was merely 9 weeks old when I saw him and his brother playing around the parked cars and some boxes near the trash at the mamak (something tanjung) in old area Sri Hartamas. It was the place where the (workers there rescued an injured) 3 legged cat roamed. We were there to grab a bite but there were visibly huge cockroaches going about the self service food unnoticed and that was it. On the way back to the car, the two kittens were still at it, and I just had to play with them too. I managed to hold both of them which they didn't give me attitude for, and there were friendly boys. As I said goodbye and let them go, one of them stayed near me before getting into the car.
It then dawned on me how it could be dangerous and that the kittens are so playful, and small, that moving vehicles won't be able to see them running around, especially in that half smashed up box where a van parked on. Plus I felt moved to trust my instinct, slowly call on them, grab hold and tell that they're coming home with me. They were pretty curious being in a car but they behaved well on my lap. Good thing I live merely 10 minutes away.
They both aren't castrated just yet, but their attitude says another. These two aren't fighters, they're very fruity in that way. Ketot has stripes and Comot has white socks.
Ketot's more of the funny and mischievious one; he likes to be in the house and will try every way possible like sprinting as the door is about to close or the window or even if the patio door is 2 inches open, he'll reach out and grab the carpet for attention, sometimes he'd appear in my room out of nowhere and jumps into bed with me then I'd have him lay down on the cat cushion which he'll only get up again and place himself right next to me.
Comot's another card. He's more subtle when it comes to sneaking in the house and in my room. And more often than not, enjoying long afternoon naps on my neighbour's bed in master bedroom! Its hard to yell at the sleepyhead, he looks peaceful and it's funny to see him being so thick even after they shoo-ed him repeatedly and still finds comfort.
