She is the only survivor of three kittens, so she had all the attention from her mom; Polar (who died 4 years ago).
Like any other kitten, she was very active and mischievous. Until one day, when I got home from school, I noticed that her head was tilting to one side. I quickly brought her to the vet, they told me that her head is 'senget' because of the swelling and it will go down in a few days. They reckon she must've strained her neck or something cause while playing around. After a week, the swell had gone away but I had to bring her back to the vet because the alignment of her head stayed the same.
She was absolutely healthy. And that's why I call her "Senget".
She's got beautiful deep blue eyes and a permanent sinus (seriously, her sniffles are so distinct, you know when she's nearby!) The little mishap may have made her hearing a little confusing, like if I call them all, instead of running straight to me, she'd sometimes turn 180degrees around to hear my call. Its endearing, really. She's lovable toward my other cats even if they're new, she'd sleep with them. And whenever I cuddle her, she'd be very baby-ish.
She's the cat my friends and other people remember by. The cat named "Senget" whose sinus sniffles cracks you up, who looks at you with her tilted head and who gets a little confuse running to you.

Last year, Senget was stolen by someone who I hardly knew. He was a friend of a friend who knew I have cats and where I lived. This person called me and asked if I lost my cat and gave me a description that fits my cat perfectly: kepala senget and selsema.
I asked him, what the hell are you doing with my cat and where is she. He said he was around my house area that evening and thought Senget was a stray so he took her.. back to Subang! It was when he got home he realised that her nose was runny so his neghbour told him to take her to the vet. And that was when he called me. So I asked him to explain to me one more time what happened and I shouted at him for not making any sense. There was no logic to bringing her to the vet in USJ when I live in Damansara Heights and the vet is right behind my house!
That lunatic did not make any sense. I insisted on knowing where is the vet, all he gave me was the doctors name and that the clinic is at USJ. At that moment, I was hyperventilating and prayed hard for my cat. I called a few friends who knew about this guy and I was told that he had stole another friends' cat, a while persian the week before. This guy wanted to make money quick and he knew that he could sell that cat to someone fast. And I suppose that was his plan for my cat too, but he didn't anticipate the sinus and the vet's bill so he had to contact me.
Once I got his contact numbers, even if it was after midnight, I made calls, including letting his parents be in the know. I went online and called the directory for the vets in USJ. Although I found the vet that seemed as a match, I couldn't sleep at all. He called me around 3am to ask whether if I was the one who spoke to his mum. I bluntly said yes, then he asked if he could help me pick Senget up in the morning, I said no and hung up.
That morning I called the vet again, they confirmed Senget was boarded the night before. When I got there, I told them what happened, and the vet said that he guy who brought her in seemed restless as though something wasn't right. I thank God for being on my side and the blessing in disguise.
(However, what I found out about that psycho is that he's got cats of his own but he wanted the cash to get his fix. I hope he rots in hell for what he's done.)
