Yala is a very curious, energetic cat in black color with dark lines. We found him under one car opposite of Bangsar Village when he was around six weeks old. Now he is a big boy with around 6KG.

Yala likes to follow you, and sleep near or by you, but not really on you. Paper boxes or cartoons are his favorites. He loves to play hiding and finding, chasing. He loves to play pom-pom ball, and other simple toys. When he was a kitten, if the toys can be carried in the mouth, he would bring the toy to you that you play with him. As he is the single cat at home, he is used to keep himself busy.

Yala is very good socialized. He is not afraid of strange places, strange people, and strange cats. One of our neighbor’s cat is his best friend.

Yala is an emotional cat. Different situations, Yala got different languages, such as different Miaos, en~, a~a~a. When he is happy, he will hop around. When he is shocked, he will walk sideways like a crab. If he has the feeling to use up his energy, he can run like a rocket. Sometimes he could be very funny. All small details are waiting for you to discover! When he starts to sleep, he likes to put his head on a higher place as a pillow like a human. While he falls into deep sleep, most likely he will lay down on the back and show his belly.

Yala is very sensitive to noise. No wonder, he is afraid of thunderstorms and will hide somewhere.

Overall, Yala is a funny guy, but not clingy.

He enjoys dry and wet cat foods. When giving the treats, he will also sit and give hand. We showered him and trimmed the nails while sleeping when he was a kitten.

Now we are moving abroad. We think it is better for a tropical cat staying at a tropical place.

He is super as a single cat, or as a company with one or two male cats.
