While wife and I were having dinner just now, we saw these 2 adorable pups wandering on a busy street. We gather they may be around 1 month old, and it was too dangerous for them on the streets, without food and shelter. So, we decided to bring them home and foster for the time being.

Both are bitches, very sweet, healthy looking dogs. I'll get them for a med check-out, probably vaccination at my vet tomorrow. Would love to re-home them, if we could. Otherwise, may bring them to SPCA after 2 weeks as we couldn't really keep them (if we do, we will have 5 dogs).

Anyone would be able to help to look for a good permanent home for them? :)

Please do not give them to SPCA for they will be put down. Puppies have small chances of survival in SPCA. You can contact Cerz to see if they can help. They have adoption booth at Sri Hartamas Shopping Centre every Saturday.

The profile is http://www.petfinder.my/members/Cerz/

Yea, I found out from my vet that SPCA will put them down. I don't think I wanna send them there...best option is to rehome them. I will foster them until I find them suitable homes.

Thanks for the tips. :)

Not easy to take a clear snapshot for these lil buggers, they are very active moving around. hehehe...

I go to the vet in my neighborhood, it's called 'Animed'.

Not necessary, we could probably meet somewhere else.

Hi, just wanna update that those 2 cuties have been adopted by a nice couple and the family. :)

Initially they chose the black and brown one. When we parted with the nice couple, the black and brown puppy grabbed my wife's hand and didn't want to let go. My wife and I were saddened by the fact that those 2 had to be separated.

Thank god, after 15 minutes, the nice couple called up and decided that they did not want to separate those 2.

I am really grateful for these kind souls to adopt all 2 of them and I wish those puppies would live happily with their new family.

P/S I dared not give them names because I think I will be even more emotionally attached.

Glad that you managed to find adopters for the 2 cute pups in such a short time! I hope this will serve as a good example to others that it is not difficult at all to try finding suitable families for the homeless / rescued pets, instead of just pushing the responbility to NGOs.

I'm sure the satisfaction that you derive from this happy outcome far exceeds the effort! Good work, Adrian! =)

Thanks Andy! This is indeed an effective platform for finding adopters. I was quite surprised that within 4 days of posting, I get both of the cuties adopted. :)

Yes, PetFinder has a pretty decent reach of adopters, thanks to PetFinder's other founder - Ezer, the marketing guru!

You, Adrian, are the true hero, for having taken such a noble initiative to rescue the puppies and gone through great efforts to find them a good home!
