Simo is a Siberian Husky, but she looks more like a Miniature Husky. She's categorized as black and tan for her coat. She's highly intelligent, could sing along to the chorus of Akon's 'Mr. Lonely', almost without fail every time that song is played.
Hi BabyZee, thanks! Actually Simo is a she. :P Not hensem but beautiful.
I think her coat is like your blackytuxedo, really shiny black in color. By the way, whenever I walk her at night, people would think that why in the world I'd walk a 'cat'. hahaha
I'll pet and cuddle then i'll run as quickly as possible to avoid getting licked...haha.. Yup, sibes look awesome...lol..beside they have the half wolf look..quite cool and macho..
LoL! I'm afraid you can't run as fast as Sibes could though. :P
If you like Sibes, you could visit our club's website which is http://www.mypethuskyclub.com, a site dedicated for Malaysian Sibes Owner, do join our online forums as well. There're plenty of coll sibes there. In fact, we occasionally organize club gathering/eat out sessions with our pets tagging along. :) You're most welcomed to join, if you wish.
Where do you buy this miniature husky? How much do you pay for it? I love Husky and searching for a pet for my new home in Oct or Nov. The type of dogs in my consideration: - Husky - Golden Retriever - JRT
Uhmm, don't think Simo is bred for miniature build on purpose; as I've seen her parents and siblings, they are of normal size. It could just an accidental genetic incident.
Have you done much research on rearing siberian husky? I suggest that you go read about Sibes before making a decision to get one. :) As sibes may be handful for some dog owners. Don't just simply buying them for their looks. :) If you need any help, don't hesitate to ask.
Ya... i do have done the research. As i know Sibes is an active, playful dogs. They do shed their furs a few time per year. I do have some knowledge about sibes cause my colleague do have a sibes at her home.
hehehe, apart from that, Sibes can be extremely destructive when they are left unattended too long. Simo had chewed up our auto-gate's wire and paralyzed its operation several times (even though we had applied some smelly ointment frequently). God knows how many pairs of socks/slippers, pens, papers, boxes etc had been chewed/swallowed by her. So, whenever we leave home, we will have to make 100% sure that all 'chewable' items are out of her reach.
If you ever get one, you also have to be extremely cautious cos they are great escape artist, and from our experience, they rarely return home once getting out from the house on themselves. Very importantly, you must not risk unleashing sibes every time you walk them. :) Since I joined My Pet Husky Club (Malaysia) last August, I have seen at least 14 Sibes of our members went missing (some were actually stolen from the house), and so far, there were only 3 returned home safely (in all cases, they were either returned back by people for a reward or were found through a thorough search, NONE actually came home by itself).
I am not here to discourage you for getting a sibe, sincerely. :) Just want to let you know the facts so that if you ever get one, you'll know what you have in hands and how to handle it with care. Other than that, Sibes are really great companion and you'll see lots of rewards from rearing one.
