An elderly couple dropped by SPCA to look for a pet dog, and fell in love with Logan. They had to wait for two weeks, until Logan could be vaccinated and neutered. During these two weeks, the couple kept returning to SPCA, to visit him and eager to take him home!
The day came when the couple could happily take Logan home. The smile on their faces reflected such joy, and the SPCA staff knew that Logan had found a wonderful forever home.
Exactly one week later, his owner (the husband) passed away peacefully. Devastated, his wife was overcome with such grief that she decided to not keep Logan any longer, as it reminded her of her husband and their new joy they found.
The rest of the family was so sad to see Logan go, as he had quickly found a place in their hearts. All the nephews, nieces, sons and daughters reasoned with their mother/ grandmom that Logan was their father's last wish, and last joy in this world - and so out of respect and love for him Logan should be kept, to always keep their fathers loving spirit alive at home.
The mother agreed, seeing that even she could not really bear to part with Logan.
This is a touching story indeed.. I'm glad the family managed to persuade the mom to keep Logan, I'm sure Logan will be able to provide her with good company and love.
May Logan live happily with his new-found family members! =)
Logan has already been adopted last week!
Just thought I'd share his story with you.

A sad story, but with a beautifully happy ending.
