The female that my male dog had mated with had given birth to 8 beautiful puppies. 6 female and 2 male. THey now need loving homes to care and bring them up. They will be good watch dogs as both their parents are great watch dogs at my house. All 8 of them seem to be very active and lively. (I will upload photos as soon as I get to upload them) There is 1 black, 1 white, 1 cream(a white marking on the forehead), 1 light brown and 4 blackish brown. They all look so adorable!! Very Disappointed that when I say I have only Female puppies people just say "Its ok Im looking for a Male puppy".. Wat is so wrong about Female puppies?!?! Very sad that people think that way..
Sadly many people do not want female pups as they don't want to deal with the hassle of preventing accidental litters (even though spaying isn't that hard to get done!). I actually think females are easier to handle in the long run in terms of "hassle" - most females don't engage in urine marking which is a common problem with males. Something for adopters to think about :)
If you're right, Melissa (and I suspect you are), that is very sad, indeed. For heaven's sake, Klinik Kembiri charges only RM90 to spay a female pup! Raj, if that is an obstacle, however, and you really want to find homes for these pups, might you consider offering a voucher to help with part of the spay costs when the pups are the right age? I have no idea if you're able to do that, or if it would encourage people to adopt them, but it might be worth a try... Good luck! :-)
My opinion is : Female pups are very lovely and manja most of the time. Males are more agressive and playful than the females even though they are castrated.
But every dog has their own character. It takes time for the new owner to find out.
As a genuine adopter, he/she has the responsibility to neuter his/her pet. Most ppl may think that it's so troublesome to neuter the female, but hey come on, it doesn't mean that it is less troublesome to adopt the male one if you are not planning to neuter him. Do you wish to see your male dog get involved in dogs' fight during mating season?
Oh!! my my.They are so adorable. Wish I can have 5toes :( Good luck to you Raj in finding new home from them. Pls neuter their mommy to avoid anymore unneccesary pregancy.
MelissaK: You are rite.. I find female dogs easier to maintain.. ManekiNeko: Sounds like a very good idea.. That would be good if ppl find it hard.. Smartie: yeah and female dogs are more loyal to my opinion.. and male dogs look for mates.. female dogs don go looking for mates... Macgyver: She is very adorable! yeah gonna get her spayed n the male neutered as then he wont go looking for another mate..

i know it is passed the 21st but is sumo boy and whitey still available i am really really interested and i hope you haven't put them in the SPCA cause they will be put down if not found a home :( please reply.
Chloe Lim, They were the 1st to be adopted. and no I hav not sent any to the SPCA. I managed to get a fren to watch the last puppy not adopted. Its only Girl Girl left...
