Why adopt a senior dog? :)
http://www.associatedcontent.com/article//why_should_you_adopt_a_senior_dog_or.html?cat=53Sept 2011 update: Yes, she's still available for adoption :) Note that due to her senior age and a past injury in her right hind leg when she was rescued she walks rather slowly, so she's more suited for an owner who prefers a laidback dog (no bouncing after tennis balls or jogging and that sort of thing haha). She's now walked 1-2 times a week to give those senior legs a rest. If you're looking for a companion dog that doesn't require frequent walks then she would be a good fit for you.

http://www.petfinder.my/pets/10507/As her owner can't be traced she is now up for adoption. She has a good appetite, ambles around the garden, is slow and easy on her outdoor walks and grass-trained for potty. Very sweet and quietly affectionate once she gets to know you. Hardly barks and meal portions are small due to her lower activity level.
Shiya is perfect for someone who prefers a sedate dog that doesn't need much exercise. Ideal for an owner who wants a quiet and exceptionally well behaved companion. Will someone please give this wonderful girl a forever home? ♥
Conditions for adoption:
1. No unnecessary tying/caging.
2. Be up to date on her vaccinations/deworming/heartworm prevention.
3. Due to her older age a good quality diet is recommended to keep her in good health. If you're not sure what food is appropriate, I'll be more than happy to guide you :)
4. Allow me to drop by for visits in the early stages of adoption.
5. Love her unconditionally :)
I would appreciate it if you could email a brief intro of yourself, your experience with dogs if any, which area you live in, your household situation (what type of home you live in, whether you have other family members/friends living with you etc.) and why you would like to adopt Shiya.
