Few weeks ago, we found this innocent baby kitten boy abandoned at our condominium. He was so young, helpless, malnourished, weighing only 500gm and had a very badly swollen left eye. We immediately brought him to the vet as he was in quite a bad shape with a bulging left eye.
Sadly, the vet informed his left eye has already burst due to an ulcer and thus his left eye is now blind. His right eye fortunately is healthy and in excellent condition. The vet dewormed and deflead him, and gave us antibiotic drops to treat the swollen left eye.
Despite our homes are packed with rescued cats, we didn't have the heart to leave him with others looking at his weak and vulnerable state. We thus brought Kayden home after the vet visit to temporary foster him to nurse him back to health. We hope to find him a sincere owner who would sincerely provide him with the love and care this sweet and innocent boy deserves.
3 weeks have passed and Kayden continues to grow stronger each day and he has recently reached 950gm. We have brought him to the vet again to receive his 1st vaccination, and was again dewormed and deflead. He is also tested negative in both FIV & FeLV tests on 1 April 2023. He is a healthy boy now and we just regularly apply eye drops on his left eye to keep it moist and make it more comfortable for him.
Despite his left eye is blind, we observed that it has no impact on him at all. This kitten has such positive energy and vibe and is so full of fun. He is happy all the time, and always loves to play, run, climb and jump around actively.
Kayden is also a very loving, sweet and truly affectionate kitten who adores human companionship. He will brighten up whenever he sees you, and he will purr and roll over when being patted. Watch the videos to see how cute he is!
Kayden is now a healthy and active 2 months old boy. He is litter-trained, currently eating Royal Canin kibbles and wet food, and is now ready to be adopted into a loving home.

4. Brings Kayden for medical treatments immediately when sick or injured.
5. For Kayden's health and well-being, it is a must to neuter him once reaches 5 to 6 months old or upon vet's advice, whichever earlier.
6. Apply eye drops on Kayden's left eye regularly for his comfort.
7. Strictly must NOT keep Kayden inside cage and must allow him to roam around freely.
8. For existing cats at home, all cats must already be neutered. This is to promote a harmonious long-term relationship amongst all the cats in the same household.
