Hi my name is Okra. I'm a 5-month old kitty.

I was born in the lobby area of a condo where the security guards took me in.

When I was too young to remember, a car once drove over my tail and it became bendy since (bendi is Okra in Malay).

My caretakers, the guards, thought I was feeling lonely and brought in an older brother kitty, Oyen, to play with me.

Together, we drove all the rodents away from the area and kept the residents safe and clean.

I was having the time of my life until an evil JMB guy kicked me in the guts because he didn't like cats.

Evil JMB also forced us out of our house. Oyen was taken away by a guard's friend.

I was shoo'd away from the compound and lived in the commercial lot nearby for 2-3 weeks.

One day, I was eating leftovers at a mamak and a resident at the condo who played with me in the past recognised me and took me home.

That was a long night. I was about to be raped by a black cat but thanks to the resident, I was rescued and they cleaned me up and took me to the vet.

Today, I am temporarily in their loving home but I cannot stay as they will be leaving the country very soon and I cannot go with them because there isn't enough time to get me fully vaccinated.

I have nowhere to go, since all their family members are not friendly to cats.

I am open to having either a forever home or a temporary home for 5 months.

Despite all that I've been through, my personality is playful, shy, and intelligent.

I am litterbox trained, and sometimes respond to my name when called, if I feel like it.

I don't meow a lot, unless I'm stressed out, I'm a calm lap kitty.

I like keeping my pristine white fur clean when I'm not busy looking adorable.
