I have been feeding him for 5 months, initially I have seen that he always tilts his head when I approach him, but never really gotten to see how and why it's like that. After months passed, I gained his trust and proceeded to pet him and touch his right ear, which was dripping in slimey wax and the whole ear was full of hardened ear wax. I have decided to try and capture him back home to bring it to my closeby vet. After two failed capture attempts, he was really scared of being captured for some reason, I managed to successfully bring him home.
The next day I brought it to my nearby vet to be examined, the vet at Ecohome Veterinary clinic said the situation was much more serious than an ear infection, she found out that there was a growth polyp deep inside the ear canal and there was nothing much she can do about it except to bring him to a surgical clinic, she warned that it might be too expensive and can reach up to 2000 myr.
So a week later, I brought him to Kota Damansara Vet clinic for initial consultation, the vet Dr Elaine confirmed that there was a growth polyp and it was one of the biggest that she has been so far, and it has started to affect the cat from within, something about hearing loss and the polyp putting pressure on the cat’s ear drum and brain. So a few days later, I sent the cat for surgery and thankfully it went very well, and the total cost only rounded up to 500++. The cat is now being fostered by me while waiting to be vaccined and neutered, and I will put it up for adoption on various sites. Thanks for reading 😊
