Daisy the American Cocker Spaniel (10kg) was adopted when she was 4 years old. She was in a loving home until her owner was stricken with terminal illness and has recently passed away. Now Daisy is given up due to the family of the deceased is unable to commit to the caring of Daisy. The family have placed her with a fosterer, until she finds a good home.
Daisy is a darling girl who loves company. She is well behaved during grooming sessions. She was very much indoors, until her owner got sick, and she was neglected outdoors. Which resulted in her having some dry skin issues at her back and ears, which can be easily treated for. Nothing infectious, she just needs a little extra tender loving care and she will do so well. Daisy has dry eye condition that needs on-going general care. She is also showing signs of losing her sight; hence an experienced handler is preferred when rehoming Daisy. Daisy is generally healthy for a senior. She is spayed, she is mobile, walks well, and even brisky at times. She needs a home where she will be loved and looked after properly with close monitoring since her eyesight is beginning to fail her.
If you are someone who has a big heart to loving seniors and think you could be a good fit for Daisy to live out her final years, please reach out to me.
