Mikasa was rescued together with her daughter Shoyo (less than 1 month old then) about 7 months ago from the streets.
When I brought them back, Mikasa was very scrawny with patches of missing fur and the baby was still suckling....it was such a pitiful sight as Mikasa looked like a baby herself
After about 2 weeks with us, she suddenly stopped eating for 2 days. I immediately sent her to the Vet and discovered she had bad gingivitis and was given a course of antibiotics. During treatment she ate her kibbles and after treatment, she stopped eating again. The Vet recommended removing all her back and side teeth and a date was set for the surgery performed over 2 sessions (she still has her front teeth).
I gave her soft food for a month or so while her gums heal. Fast forward to now, she has grown into a beautiful cat and ate her kibbles without problem!.
Mikasa is a very loving cat who enjoys belly rub and some cuddling. She definitely deserve a loving forever home togerther with her daughter Shoyu
She will be good for families with young children as she is very affectionate.
She loves climbing all over though so I would prefer to give her away to people living in landed property.
