since ur staying at pasir gudang, u need to check with the local post office or you can check with your neighbours who has dogs on how did they apply for thier licenses...:)
but then as far as i know...in malaysia only Sepang is kinda strict with animal laws even they are considering licence approval for cats :)
so try to get some info from ur neighbours and kalo x dapat...post office should be your next stop.
hye all...started to give my dogs BARF yesterday...after a lot of reading at the internet...the problem is,it costs my a lot of money! may i know who can give me the simplest way to do barf for dogs? ur comments are appreciated..thanks!
hi...i'm thinking of spaying them...but i'm a muslim n i dun have a car to bring them to the vet...(i need to wash the entire inside of the car or else we can't pray) maybe u can give me ideas?tq
hi Fatihah, I think this has been discussed before. Rather than just talking abt ur dog and putting up puppies for adoption, I think spaying ur dog is very important. What if one day she gives birth with complications tht u can't handle which needs emergency vets attention? What do u do then? Don't u have any non Muslim friends who can help u? or u can open a thread in the forum and ask if hhere us any non Muslim in Batu Pahat who can help u send the dog to the vet. No harm trying.
Fatiha... agreed with kak fareen, she has a good solid point there. im sure you have non muslim friends to assist you or even your neighbours. worst come to worst talk to the vet if they can assit in arranging transport to pick-up and drop off. Fatiha...i see yu have a lot of compassion to this dog BUT i do have a solid question to u...after spaying who is going to take care of this dog? as wat im aware of this dog is kept outside your home so does that mean after the surgery the dog is going to be left outside with the weather being non consistant after the surgery when the wound is still fresh ? plz dont get me wrong as im not shooting any bullets at you but just trying ti fugure out a darn good solution for you and the dog(s). :)
hi kak fareen : thanks for your comments...but im reli looking forward for those yg ble bwk these dogs to the vet...bot barf last week..the person told me that she'll help me to find a cheap vet to help me... ashboy : thank you2....FYI, my dogs are living inside an old workshop...but its still in my fence..so after the procedure, they will stay inside the workshop...its their place now since we are not using that place anymore.
how can u own her as pet if it's seems to hard for u to actually "pet" her? doesn't seem like u "bela" her laa. more like the one who fed, n gives a shelter to a stray dog. That's why she can roam free and get pregnant.haiyohh.. If i am in yr shoe, i'd get a large pet carrier, put her in, get her into mom's CRV, n drove off to the vet to spay her.. else, i'll keep on posting puppies for adoption. if spaying is not yr option, u need to keep her in door, err.., in yr fenced area, to avoid her from roaming n accidentally giving birth.
Dont u think its good enough that someone s feeding her.. (no offence) I mean i totally understand ur point but... if i were in ur shoe id say this to her... Fatiha , u're a really responsible and good person... U really are fatiha...
@Acqua, yup.. that's true, but what i'm really is thinking n concern about, is Brownie's welfare.. it's her PET.. so it's her responsibility to gives Brownie what she deserves..TLC. that's all i'm saying.=)
Okay... Sorry for misinterpreting ur kind intentions... What im trying to say is... Its hard to find a ginuene animal lover ... People will always favour pedegree dogs and cat so strays dont stand a chance if u ask me... Since shes a muslim and theres limitations to be a good owner... So thats y I said thats good enough.... Again sorry...
no need to be sorry hun.. u yrself said that people prefer pedigreed pet, rather than the strays.. a responsible pet owner dont contributes towards it.if she values Brownie, as a pet, she needs to keep her in a fenced area, isolated from stray dogs if fatihah cant afford having Brownie spayed.
Caxxandra, maybe you can think that i am not actually petting Brownie. it is difficult for a muslim to pet dogs but i'm doing my best.go and ask around is there any muslims who can actually have dogs at their home? we wanted to build a shelter for the dogs but it is not appropriate for us to have a kennel at our house. if you are in my shoe, you will think the same. Acqua is right, i have some limitations, they cant enter the house. i hope you can understand. we chased them a lot of times already, but they always come back. then is when i decided to take care of them. even i bought BARF for them from Kuala Lumpur (i'm in johor). i dont think other people will do the same.do you think i'm still not doing my best?
caxxandra..better u read pet profile n previous comments 1st..brownie still a stray that fatihah willing to feed her everyday and shes not owning the dog..i know u concern..but u totally misjudge fatihah..its better to have some1 who willing to feed the stray rather letting them dying outside kan.. fatihah biar je org len nak ckp ape..tihah da buat yg terbaik..:)
tihah...not everyone willing to take care of a dog esp with the limitation of our religious..for you to do it, i think u have done something that is really2 nobel and great..try to ask around your house of any non-muslim can take care of her..if not maybe you can sent her to any shelter that willing to take her.. and you might want to change the title to for adoption maybe there will be some hope for brownie to get a new owner..
