Lily was adopted at 3 months as her owner was about to leave the country. She is used to being the only cat, and she wishes to be an outdoor cat.
We are unfortunately leaving the country in a few months and she is *really scared* of the vet (she turns feral when they open the cage, she had a bad experience of waking up from her neutering next to a dog in a cage barking at her) and we don't want to put her through the trauma of going to the vet multiple times before and after the trip, as well as flying cargo x2. We're not sure she'd survive the stress :(
She is a cat who loves her humans but needs to have her space too. When she's not in the mood, she'll definitely let you know ๐
. She often comes looking for us in the bedroom and then just snuggles next to us.
We are hoping to find her a family who will be able to give her the 1-on-1 attention she deserves (with a baby, I just don't have the time to play with her anymore...), who won't keep her in a cage, and preferably who will have outdoor space to let her roam a bit. We have kept her on a 3m leash in the garden for her to get some outside time (the road in front is a cat-killer), but she deserves more.
We'll hand out her cat tree, litter box, transport crate, toys, litter, food and vet book.
