Butternut is a stunning ginger cat with the most soulful eyes you've ever seen. It's like his big green droopy eyes are telling the story of his life, which hasn't been the easiest, but we are hoping that his difficult days are all behind him!
When he was first rescued, Butternut was in really bad shape and had a few moments we thought we'd lose him. Miraculously, he managed to recover, and was strong enough to go through two rounds of dental surgery which eased his oral pain a lot.
Butternut has early stages of CKD, and that will have to be managed through a renal diet for the time being. He's a good eater, and is very spirited, loving to play with boxes, fishing rod toys, and pets. He'll raise his paw and tap you if he wants to be petted more, and it's the cutest thing ever.
Butternut has been defleaed, dewormed, will be vaccinated before adoption, neutered, and is FIV positive, FeLV negative. We are also considering long-term fostering situation for him, where the foster commits to his care and we continue to pay for all his medical bills and be responsible for him. So if you're interested in this type of arrangement because you cannot adopt for good, we are also open, so please reach out!
If you're interested in Butternut, please WHATSAPP us on the number provided. We are very responsive on WhatsApp, SMS, e-mail, Facebook and Instagram but we won't be seeing comments left here.
We do have a short application process. We insist that all cats adopted from us be indoor cats and spayed/neutered when old enough. If you would like to learn more about our work, please check us out on Instagram: @allergic rescuers kl on Facebook: Allergic Rescuers KL. Thank you for considering adoption!
