Kacang the elder sister.
Lobak & Kacang are daughters of Mami & Kiddie. Last year, I had to give them away for adoption due to a long-run renovation of my parent's home.

On May 2010, Muhammad, a new adopter decided to take them home. Both Muhammad and his wife are very nice people and they took back both Lobak & Kacang. They like the cats very much, but they had to give them back to me as Muhammad's wife is pregnant and having difficulties to clean their pee and poop. And so, Lobak & Kacang were given back to me on July 2010.

On the same month of July, there was another female adopter name Sasha, also wished to adopt both Lobak & Kacang. During the conversation on the phone beforehand, she claimed she have over 20 years of experience in dealing with cats, and would not mind that even the cats are not toilet-trained, she would be gladly to train them with her experiences. At the same time, I also had a few callers who are interested to adopt them, but then I was so convinced that she had 20 years of experience in cats, and I have decided to let the cats go to Sasha. Sadly, just after 3 days of promising to adopt the cats, yeah, 3 days only, not that I could imagine from a person with 20 years of experience in cats. The second adopter Sasha sms back impolitely to return the cats to me. Then happened some unnecessary actions of her throughout the process of returning the cats, it was the most frightening experience of me dealing with new adopter.

Again, for people who are interested in adopting Lobak & Kacang, here are some details about them:
1. Toilet-trained (pee & poop anywhere on the toilet ground without using litter-sand)
2. Home-based cat, they are afraid to go out of our homes
3. Not lap cats
4. Very shy but independent
5. Like to be brushed with human combs
6. Like to sleep in any fruit basket with cloth
7. Can be very very manja to ask for petting if you can get close enough with them

Anyone interested in adopting Lobak & Kacang, please feel free to read the above and contact me. I hope this third time adopting experience would be a nice remembrance of them. =)

thanks to sha, now lobak & kacang found a new home!

lobak & kacang are now for adoption, any interested readers may contact me, only serious adopters with experiences in taking care of cats. lobak & kacang now is with 'sasha', whom complained they are not up to her discipline of expectations, for just 3 days, which the problem is just cleaning their pee & poo. anyone who is interested to adopt them, again, for another traveling to a new home, will have to be prepared for just anything gonna happen to the cats, like everyone who owns cat, will have to clean their daily pee & poo, even they are trained to do their stuff in the toilet, you will hv to clean them. right?

Adrian... I am so sorry to hear Lobak and Kacang now with status open for adoption again.

I read your post in forum thread and I really understand your feeling. As a responsible owner you did everything that you could, you spayed them, you found their new shelter previosuly and even when the second owner have to let them go, you again, take the responsible to rehome lobak and kacang.

Chaiyuk, Adrian! Gambate!

For that girl who name Shasha, if you really have experience with cats, you should expect cat's behavior. Cats can be easily toilet trained. If you keep cats in a room with a box of sand, they will choose that box to pee & poo. Confirm! They only refuse if they feel discomfort... Either the sand not suit them, or the box if too small.. bla..bla..bla.. give them time lar.... adoi..

To give up in 3 days of keeping these cats, sooooooooo tak ada ilmu in handling kucing. Adoi.

Adrian, suggestion... upload more photos for lobak and kacang?

yes marissa528 and kaybukhari, it is very sad to have known this people that take things for granted when it is free. I bet if the cat is premium breed and when you hv to pay for it, people won't even give them back when you can't have them to get use of the new environment. I have experience of cats more than 3years, and I understand how their adaptation is to new surroundings, yet Sasha promised to train them again if they don't find their way to pee & poo, but in the end, just 3 days, and tadi nk jumpe die amek blk, dpt Lobak je, kata Kacang tgh hiding, nvm I believe that, then there was an argument and she stood me f*ck you Adrian, and dropped... mase tgu kat luar rumah dia.

What the......? now u only get lobak back? Kacang macam mana..? If hiding, kenapa tak boleh cari ke? Besar sgt ke rumah tu nak cari? I believe if you as the original owner call her name, mesti dia datang jenguk2 kot?

Geram pula ni dgn budak ni. AD, u ada tak link ke profile dia?

Her age is 13 meh? Did she just change the real info of hers? Yeap, she is unprofessional. She should learn how to face this thing not run away like this.

Btw, I pray that you will get your Kacang back.

tu la, da buat silap nk hide lg ckp 13. tp mmg ape dia buat semua ni mcm 13year old kid. pastu buat profil ckp 20years of experience in cat. i mean, i cant say she made a lie, but, honestly ckp, decision dia on returning my cats, mmg 13.

i think her real age is 25+/-...

Hi Adrian, why not try talking to your parents again about keeping them. If ruining the furniture is a concern, perhaps you can confine them to a room or buy a 3 tier cage and let them out frequently (but supervised).

Going from house to house & having to adjust to new strangers again & again must be very stressful for these poor beautiful babies. it's worth a try, no?

Hi Adrian,ya why not try talking to ur parents to keep the cats. Cats pee n poo at inappropiate places due to stress ( eg unhappy with new environment). That's the way they make their statement! If ur parents takut mrk scratch the furniture u can buy antiscratch spray at the pet shop or mix vinegar and water and spray at places u dont want them to go to as they dont like the smell. The cat's stress level is high unless the new adopter is very very patient and understands animal behaviour. Good luck.

yes, now for the time being, i am taking care of lobak, its at home now. but not kacang. i understand well enough that they are stressed and the cats reacted that way, but unfortunately for a 20years of cat experienced sasha cant bear with their behavior.

I mean, why not try to talk your parents into letting u keep them indefinitely. U know them well anyway, so they might be happier with you.

Best of luck.
