Winks needs a miracle adopter. He is 2-4years old, blind in his left eye and FIV positive. But here is why he might be a great fit for your home:
- Looking for a chatty, love bug? Look no further. He absolutely loves a cuddle. Given the opportunity, he will nestle into you lap for snooze and he isn’t shy about gently asking to be petted. But he is also happy to hang out solo if you need to work. If finding a cat with an ace personality is your priority, then Winks might be a great fit for you.
- His blind eye has been checked by two vets and needs no treatment and causes him no problems. He gets around well with his good eye.
- FIV+ cats can have long, happy lives. No treatment is necessary but he will likely have a shorter life span and will need to be monitored for infections/illness. If you have other cats, they will need to be integrated carefully but the virus is not spread through shared food bowls, bedding or grooming.
- He is tidy and smaller sized. He uses the litter box with no problem, and keeps his little, slinky body well groomed.
When I picked up Winks outside a restaurant in TTDI, my intention was simply to neuter him, check the eye and re-release him. But he is too awesome to put back on the street. He is a gem. If you want a no-pressure opportunity to meet him, please send me a WhatsApp. His personality absolutely shines and that’s difficult to show in pictures. Meet him and see for yourself!
Adoption Fee negotiable
Potential adopters will be asked some questions and asked to complete a short adoption form to ensure Winks is a good fit for you.
