She didn't done wrong anything. Hmm... maybe just join a wrong family? That owner lack of sense of responsibility, just bring puppy home for fun. When realize she grow bigger and wasn't as adorable when she was a puppy. The owner regret, and just don let her go in the house anymore. She is now straying at my neighborhood, but most of the time still waiting at previous owner house's gate, praying for a chance to go "home".
Yes, sorry to say that she is still wonder around. She is definitely a pretty lovely baby. Very active, playful and cheerful character. But I'm unable to temp. foster her. Have two dogs at home, and my mom doesn't allow me to bring her back. What I do now is only providing foods and water. Really hope can help her to get a home.
She'll need to be spayed very soon or the problem will get worse with puppies and more homeless animals. You are a very compassionate and responsible person. It's a shame you're taking the responsibility for others who have failed. Shame on the owner's for walking away from their responsibility.
ya... need to get a place to temporary foster her during after the spayed. My house isn't an ideal location, due to have two dogs home. One of it is not friendly to dog. And also contacting Vet and hope can get a reasonable price for the operation. Keeping 2dogs now, which both were stray dogs. Bit burden for me on it. Still hope can help her to get a home, get a owner here. God bless her.
Shame on the owners! She's so beautiful. She deserves to be rehomed. There is an organization in KL http://www.myanimalcare.org/ that helps with cost of spaying strays but like all such organizations are short of cash. They might be able to be of some assistance. Keep up your good work!
Recently start to have neighbors complaint abt XiaoMi, as she bites rubbish and bark at people.
Just communicate with the owner. She confirmed that she don't want XiaoMi already, reason due to XiaoMi bites their shoes and plants. Now she already had a "branded" dog(not sure is terrier or poodle), thus XiaoMi is out from the option.Trying to convince her that XiaoMi just need some training and guidance. But she refuse that, and said if XiaoMi bring troubles to us. She will throw XiaoMi to jungle or kampung area.
Informed her that i might bring XiaoMi for neuter. And ask her to don't throw away XiaoMi.I'll try to get a home for her. Feel sad and sorry to XiaoMi. And so shameful on the owner.
Pls ppl of batu pahat & jb, jahor let's see if we can get this girl rehomed. She appears to have been thrown away for acting like any puppy. Puppies chew and get into mischief. They need gentle guidance and training and not to be tossed aside like garbage.
Bless you, DankesBB! For caring about Xiao Mi, for trying to reason with your neighbors, and for spaying her next week to prevent future litters of puppies from suffering her fate. Well, her fate might not be so bad -- let's all hope that someone in your area gives her a happy home. She's a very cute dog!
The new pictures are great. She looks so clean & healthy. You're doing such a wonderful job.
I hope a fosterer comes forward to help you.
I don't know if this information is good or not but through some of the PF listings I came across an organization called CARES in Lima Kedai, Johor. They are some kind of shelter but have no idea if they are good or not. 3286 If you contact them they may be able to connect to a fosterer while she recovers. I don't know if it will work or not.
Another thought is to go through the list of fosterers on PF website for Johor. It would be alot easier if someone came forward because you've done so much for this dog already!
Dear CanuckinKL, thanks for your advice and suggestion. Have some good news to share.
I had already contacted CARES and HOPE, both are dog shelter at JB. Are planning now via assist one of them to send XiaoMi for neuter. But, either one will still cost me abt RM200 for neuter cost as they are in debts with a lot of Vet too.
Another good new is, my mom's friend is considering to adopt Xiao Mi. WIsh can hv gd new soon.
She is a miracle dog, wonder how can she maintain so clean.... lovely dog.
