Orked is a beautifully afffectionate cat, who loves to be stroked and petted. Her fur is thick and soft, so it is a pleasure to run your hand along her back. She is a very quiet cat, but you will know she is there as she comes running as soon as you walk in the room, and will follow you around waiting for your attention. She still has many kittenish traits, and likes to chase a feather on a string. She is happiest curling in your lap to snooze.
Orked was pregnant when she was rescued, and became an excellent mother to her 3 kittens, but now they are adopted and she deserves a loving home of her own. She had a slight injury to her right eye, so it is a little glazed, but she has no problem seeing.
Our Student & Xpat Foster Scheme understands how students, away from home, might feel the need of a cat for company. However, when we have adopted kittens to students in the past, they have sometimes been returned to us as older cats, when the course was finished and the student moved away. Likewise with Xpats who, especially over the last year, have had to return to their country unexpectedly.
With our Student & Xpat Foster Scheme, a you can take home a loving, affectionate older cat (1 year plus) that will be the perfect companion, with the option of returning the cat when you need to. These older cats are currently living in a group in our cat house, but would love the chance to have one-to-one affection and love, even if only temporarily.
Could you give adorable Orked a short or long-term, loving home?
