A little less than 2 months ago, on my way home from laundry, I saw a white cat laying on the pavement by the road. Looked like he was sleeping. Went closer to look and saw that he was injured as he woke up and tried to move but only managed to pull himself away from me with his front paws.
Turned out that this handsome fella had been hit by a motorcycle and somehow managed to pull himself up on the pavement and probably collapsed in exhaustion when I found him.
Vet X-rays showed a dislocated hip. Casper, as I’ve named him, was put on cage rest and monitored closely. Since then, Casper has healed up nicely and is able to walk now. He is cheeky and playful, and has a very unique look (ie he’s a bit cross-eyes looking) which makes him so endearing ❤️❤️❤️.
This handsome fella is extremely affectionate, a purrpot, cheeky and playful, and is a gentle, quiet, calm and cool cat. He walks perfectly fine and prefers to lay quietly next to you and enjoy the comforts of a home and a loving hooman, which includes, but isn't limited to, pets, scritches, bellyrubs, cuddles and kisses. ❤️
Casper is:
1. Male
2. 4 years old
3. Neutered
4. Vaccinated
5. Dewormed
6. Deflead
7. FIV positive / FeLV negative
Even though Casper is FIV positive, it is not a death sentence and Casper can still live in a multi-cat household as FIV typically transmitted through fights and mating, which Casper is not inclined to do.
Looking for a forever loving home who can provide him with the following:
1. Live indoors ONLY.
2. Free roaming and never caged.
3. Feeds him a balanced and nutritious diet as per his breed
4. Gives him regular annual vaccinations, flea medications, and take him for regular checkups at the vet
5. Must have full understanding of his injury to monitor and pay careful attention to it so that it does not become a medical issue in the future.
6. Willing to provide regular updates on his growth and progress
7. Amenable to periodical visits for progress monitoring
He is available for adoption to a loving home as a solo cat, or with cats with FIV+, although he is able to live with other FIV negative cats. He does seem to be a one-person cat, so potential adopters should be willing to let him sleep with them in the bed.
Potential adopters will be evaluated for suitability, and should be agreeable to be interviewed and site visits during the evaluation process.
If you are interested in adopting handsome Casper, please DM me. Casper is a beautiful loving cat who doesn’t deserve to go back on the streets but should live his best life with YOU ❤️❤️❤️🙏😁.
